Paddy O’Boyle – Invent DCU Workshop - COLLABORATE TO INNOVATE
Paddy has been a technology professional for over 20 years, in a variety of senior roles in Ireland, the UK and the US.
In his current role at Invent Dublin City University (DCU), Paddy has responsibility for commercial licensing, industrial collaborations and new start-up formation in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), helping to establish DCU as Ireland’s University of Enterprise.
Before joining DCU, Paddy established and led the technology transfer business for Bell Labs in Europe, based out of Dublin. Paddy has significant international experience including 10 years working in the US. He has held a number of senior management positions in Alcatel-Lucent, including product marketing, business development, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this he led a number of engineering projects and teams for Nortel Networks.
Paddy has an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management / the University of Michigan.
